T Fords of Texas Member George Alva

San Antonio
1922 Model T Touring Car

George's Model T has probably been seen by more people in San Antonio than every other car in the club combined. He has been running his bright yellow touring car, painted in the color of the taxi company he works for, for many, many years. He is most often right at the front, carrying parade dignitaries, so you know he gets a lot of screen time at televised events. George's history with this particular Model T goes way, way back. He used to see it on his way to school and when it became available, it was George who suggested the company buy it to use as a promotional vehicle. As you can see from the pictures, George likes to play the part to the hilt, with a uniform of his own devising.
