T Fords of Texas Member Deanna Roetter

San Antonio
1919 Model T Touring Caar

Deanna inherited this car from her fathe who became its second owner in 1970. She owns the original paperwork that shows the car was first purchased in early 1920 in California. After her father passed, the car sat idle in a relative's garage for over a decade until Deanna was able to bring it to her new home in San Antonio in 2011. Since then she has been fixing some of its issues from sitting so long but she was able to bring it to its first club activity, the San Antonio Ford Model T Show in May 2012. She took the opportunity to not only have many sets of experienced eyes reveiew her progress but also to actually learn how to drive it. Before you knew it she was giving rides to show visitors like a pro. Way to go, Deanna!
